Kelvin M. Rodgers is a practicing attorney from Spearsville, Louisiana. Mr. Rodgers attended Grambling State University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2005. After finishing his undergraduate studies, Mr. Rodgers attended Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he was largely involved in several organizations. He graduated from Southern University Law Center in May 2009 and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in October 2009, after passing the Bar Exam on the first attempt.
Mr. Rodgers began his legal career in 2009 as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Ramona Emanuel of the First Judicial District Court in Shreveport, Louisiana. He clerked for Judge Emanuel for nine (9) months before he was hired as an Assistant District Attorney in Caddo Parish in 2010. As an Assistant District Attorney, he prosecuted various types of crimes including but not limited to Murder, Rape, Armed Robbery, Burglary, and DWI’s.
After spending more than five (5) years at the Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Rodgers realized that his services were greatly needed elsewhere. Therefore, Mr. Rodgers established The Rodgers’ Law Firm in 2016 in Louisiana with the objective of providing quality legal services to those in need. As of April 2020, Mr. Rodgers expanded The Rodgers’ Law Firm to the great state of Texas as well. Mr. Rodgers has provided excellent legal services to his clients and seeks to continue invoking justice where it is desperately needed.
Kelvin is married to his beautiful wife and they have two lovely daugthers . Kelvin is a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Mansfield, TX. In his spare time, Kelvin mentors young adults and has created the Clara Mae Watson Scholarship for high school graduates seeking higher education
